Karl Industries purchased Sapon Laboratories from Overlook
Industries in March, 1987 and moved it to Aurora, Ohio. We are specialists in
high pressure reactions which include catalytic reductions and reductive
alkylations. We are also experienced in a wide variety of organic syntheses,
encompassing aromatic substitution, chemical reductions, Grignard reactions,
halogenations, Sandmeyer reactions and additional organic and inorganic
reactions.
Our laboratory facilities include two well equipped four liter
autoclaves, one five gallon autoclave and various laboratory glassware and
distillation equipment ranging in size up to fifty liters. We also have an
infra-red spectrophotometer, 2 gas chromatographs and a refractometer and
access to additional analytical services as needed.
Karl Industries, Inc. has a catalogue with over 1200 chemicals
and most of these chemicals are unique to our company. We also do custom
synthesis and contract research under secrecy agreements. Please contact us to

reagents.
We also trade in chemicals in quantities from kilograms to ton
quantities. We have excellent world wide sources for most chemicals.
